Subscriptions

A free subscription gets you each week’s letter in real time.

A paid subscription ($5/month or $50/year) grants you access to the Divinity School archives: now over two years of letters.

Your paid subscription buys me time to work on my debut novel. Thank you for your support!

Why Ghost?

I started Divinity School in 2020, as a TinyLetter titled "Extraordinary Time." In July 2023, I moved to Substack, and renamed the project, "Divinity School." Over time, Substack began to feel more and more like a social media platform. I didn't like that. And I didn't like giving Substack 10% of my subscription revenue in perpetuity.

So, here I am.

For full transparency: now I pay Ghost(Pro) $35/month for the "newsletter" function, SquareSpace $20/year for my domain, and Stripe an 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing fee on each paid subscription.

Thank you, readers!
