Forthcoming

My story, JUNCO & WOLF, will appear in the winter issue of A Public Space. A Public Space’s mission is to “seek out overlooked and unclassifiable work, and to publish writing from beyond established confines.” Subscribe here.

My essay, PROOF, won Roxane Gay’s love letter contest, and will be published in The Audacity in the near future. Subscribe to The Audacity to get my essay in your inbox the day it goes live.

My essay, You’ll Know It When You Find It (tentative title), will be published in SEARCH WORK (OR Books, 2026) a collection of essays edited by Rachel Meade Smith. Rachel curates Words of Mouth, a weekly newsletter sharing opportunities for professional and creative development across design, the arts, education, information, and the built environment.

Subscriptions

A free subscription gets you each week’s letter in real time.

A paid subscription ($5/month or $50/year) grants you access to the Divinity School archives: now over two years of letters.

Your paid subscription buys me time to work on my debut novel. Thank you for your support!

You can also buy me a coffee.

THANK YOU!

Why Ghost?

I started Divinity School in 2020, as a TinyLetter titled "Extraordinary Time." In July 2023, I moved to Substack. Over time, Substack began to feel more and more like a social media platform. I didn't like that. And I didn't like giving Substack 10% of my subscription revenue in perpetuity.

So, here I am!

For full transparency: now I pay Ghost(Pro) $35/month for the "newsletter" function, SquareSpace $20/year for my domain, and Stripe an 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing fee on each paid subscription.

Thank you, readers!
